Samsung may plan to get the Galaxy S4 out in Feb 2013.
It is to get 5in Full HD screen. AMOLED 4.99-Inch Screen. It has unveiled a new octa-core Exynos processor.

Samsung Galaxy S4 will land as the first handset to boast an eight-core processor, new reports have suggested that the Exynos 5 Octa Processor, unveiled by Samsung at CES 2013, will feature on the as yet unconfirmed Samsung Galaxy S4 first, marking the device out as the most powerful to date.

Rumors point to a Galaxy S4 with a 4.99-inch 1080P HD display that may include flexible or unbreakable screen tech, a first for a production Galaxy S phone. The video above shows a prototype unbreakable display from Samsung repeatedly hit with a hammer.

Screen Display - Samsung Galaxy S4 will sport 5 inches Super AMOLED touchscreen with 1080x1920 pixel resolutions. Other rumours claimed that GS4 will be equipped with flexible screen displays. Upcoming iPhone 6 is also speculated to boast 5-inch Full HD display.

Processor - Samsung Galaxy S4 is rumoured to have 8-core processor paired with 2GB RAM. iPhone 6 will probably powered by an updated A6 chip.

Operating System - Samsung Galaxy S4 is speculated to run with the upcoming version of the Android OS - Key Lime Pie or the new mobile software TIZEN OS. iPhone 6, however, will run with iOS 7.

Internal Storage - Samsung Galaxy S3's successor will have 16GB, 32GB and 64GB internal storage with additional storage through microSD slot. iPhone 6, on the other hand, will have a 128GB storage.

4G/LTE - Both devices will support 4G/LTE connectivity.

NFC - Both smartphones will be capable of Near Field Communication. iPhone 5 did not support such feature, which impedes on the sales of the device.

Camera - Samsung Galaxy S4 is rumoured to have a 13MP rear camera. The specific megapixel of iPhone 6's camera is still unknown but rumour hast it that the device will have a super HD camera.

Ever wanted to surf the net but didn't have a modem on your computer? You don't realy need a modem to be able to surf the net,you can simply use your cell phone as a modem.  

HOW? 

This short tutorial will teach how to set your phone as a modem connected to your computer/laptop.

1. You need a cell phone. It has to have GPRS and it must be modem enabled.

2.You need a means of connection from your cell phone to your computer or laptop (inferred,bluetooth or usb cable)

3.You need a dialup connection

4.You need to know and change your proxy settings

Step 1: Take your gprs enabled cell phone and connect it to your computer or laptop using either buletooth,infered or a usb cable.

Step 2: Create a dial up connection.Go into your control panel,then into internet options.Then go to connections and add. Create a dial up connection and when it asks for a phone number type in *99#

Step 3: On your new dialup connection add the same proxy address you have on your gprs in your cell phone.

Step 4: Now on your cpanel there should be something called modem options (If your 's doesn't have you'll have to search your computer for an option that allows you to change the acess point name or also known as the APN) here you must change the APN to whatever your APN is on yor gprs in your phone.

Step 5: Go to start menu and connect,then connect to your dial up (make sure your cell phone is connected to your computer or laptop)

Step 6: Start your browser (internet exploxer,opera etc) and start surfing the net.

Note that every cell phone has it's own speed for example 3g phones can reach up to speed's of 48 kb/s.

Problems faced:
1. First problem is that in order to run, most phones need the drivers installed. Now either bluetooth, infared or cable modems will be installed from the disc you get when u buy one. Now on the disk it should have the drivers on there, if not you will need to find another internet connection and download them.

2. Next, you CANNOT use Firefox, Bit torrent apps, IM apps, Opera, or any web based programs besides IE if you are connecting through a Proxy address. Also another downside of a proxy is your computer wont store the cookies from the phone so logging into sites may be difficult. Now in order to get around this block and use web based applications u will need to dowload a program called "Your Freedom" (Just google it as I cant remember site ATM) then enter in YF your proxy settings and it will work, and then add the proxy setting of localhost:8080 for HTTP and localhost:1080 for Socks 5. This will let you use opera and Firefox.

Ok and now I will give you some tips on how to make most of your phone as a modem.

1. Use Firefox with the FasterFox extension set up on the max and your browsing speed will be much better. An alternative is to use Opera

2. Use a download manager to speed up your downloads by 4 times and some times up to 8 times (say your av. DL speed was 1.0 Kb/s it will increase it to 4.0 Kb/s becuase it will download te file in 4 different places at once.) I reccomend using Get Right.

3. Get premium version of Your Freedom as it will get rid of 2 hour time limit and max of 10 connections. And you cant get a crack for it or anything as it uses the info from the account you set up on their site.

Personal Unblocking Code (PUC / PUK)

A PIN Unlock Code (PUC) or PIN Unlock Key (PUK) is used in GSM mobile phones and some smartcards to unblock a blocked card.

Most mobile telephones offer the feature of personal identification number (PIN) protection. After switching on the phone, if the PIN security function is active, the user is requested to enter a 4-8 digit PIN enabling the phone's non-emergency calling functions.

If the wrong PIN is typed in more than 3 times, either the SIM card, the device or both become locked. They can be reverted to their original unlocked state by entering a PUC (PUK), provided by the service operator through verification.

If the wrong PUC (PUK) is entered 10 times in a row, the device will become permanently blocked and unrecoverable, requiring a new SIM card. Cellular phone users are therefore advised by most providers to keep their PUC (PUK) written down in a safe place separate from the device.

The PUC (PUK) is a SIM-specific code assigned by the service provider. It is near-impossible to guess and enter it; thus, if you do not know your PUC (PUK) and are prompted for it, you should get it from your service provider.

Please note (for Indian customers): You may directly contact the service provider and get the PUK number. For this you just need to have the mobile number.

How to Jailbreak iPhone/iPod Touch With 3.0 Official Firmware

If you have the official firmware 3.0 for the iPod Touch/iPhone it is possible to jailbreak, though it will be less complicated when QuickPwn comes out. For now, this method is the working alternative.

1. First, open iTunes, and shift+click on the "restore" button and upgrade yourself to the 3.0 firmware (even if you already have it).

2. Set it up as a new iPod/iPhone in iTunes.

3. It should work on the 3.0 firmware, un-jailbroken as of now.

4. Open "redsn0w" and browse for the firmware.

5. Click "Next".

6. Only check Cydia, not Icy.

7. Plug in the device, then turn it off.

8. Follow the instructions for putting it into DFU mode (power button for 3 seconds, both buttons for 10 seconds, only home button for 30 seconds). It will do the rest.

9. When it turns on again, you should have a normal iPod/iPhone with Cydia installed. It is successfully jailbroken.

The IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number is on all GSM and UMTS mobile phones, commonly found in Europe, Asia, Africa and increasingly in America. Cingular & T-Mobile are the major US carriers but there are growing numbers of regional carriers who are switching to GSM like Centennial Wireless, Highland Cellular, Dobson Cellular to name a few. Mobile phone companies can use the number to identify valid subscribers and the type of equipment used. The carrier could thus use the number to remotely disable the phone in the event it is stolen or reported lost and customize data content to be compatible with the type of equipment used, among other things.

Steps

1. Ensure your phone is powered on.
2. Return to the "idle" screen, or your "desktop". If you were in the middle of a call, end it, and clear any numbers you pressed while making that call.
3. Press the following keys one by one: * # 0 6 #
4. As you press on the last #, a number will appear with the title, IMEI number, or similar.

Motorola iDen Units

1. With the handset on, press the following key sequence in rapid succession (without pause): # * [menu] [right arrow].
2. On units with SIM cards, scroll down until you see IMEI/SIM ID. Select Enter, and view your IMEI, SIM, and on some units, your MSN. The first fourteen digits are displayed; the fifteenth is always a 0.
3. On older units without SIM cards, continue to hit the [right arrow] key until you see IMEI [0] on the display. The first seven digits are displayed. Hit the menu key, then the "soft key" under next, and the next seven digits are displayed. The final, fifteenth, digit is most often a 0, however, this can be changed by altering the NAM.

Alternate Methods

1. Ensure the phone is powered off.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Look on the phone for a white sticker/label, which would be now exposed after removing the battery, for the IMEI. It would be 15 or 17 digits not including a few forward slashes included and without any letters. Only the first 15-digits are needed.
4. If the phone is not available or if the label is unreadable then have a look at the phone manufacturer's packaging for a white sticker/label. Near one bar code or another the IMEI would also be printed.

Tips

• If your mobile phone is stolen, call or go to the nearest service center of your mobile network, and give that IMEI number to staff and ask them to block that number for a period of time, so no one can use your mobile phone for any illegal purpose.
• Store your 15-Digit IMEI Number in a safe place, so you could find it if your phone is stolen.
• If you are South African, you are required by law to report the theft to your Service Provider (Mobile Network) and to the Police (either SAPS or your local Metro Police). It will be blacklisted across ALL networks so that it can't be used for criminal activities. If it is recovered, it is possible to de-blacklist it providing you have proof of ownership.

Warnings

• Do not ask the Service Center Staff to block your IMEI number permanently.
• The * # 0 6 # process does not work with the original iPhone, LG-WX3200 and LG-LX160 phones, or all Nextel (iDEN) handsets, or a RAZR V3m.
• Sometimes, fraudulent people change the IMEI Number of a handset, soon after the theft, and according to a recent report, most of the new numbers used by them are of already existing Cell Phones, so it is better to check whether your handset's number is not used somewhere else by visiting IMEI Number Analyzer. If it shows the Model of mobile, which you have, then it means that it is not used by someone else, but if it does not, then you should immediately contact Central Equipment Identity Register, and consult them regarding this problem.

Privacy advocates aren't pleased with Google Web History, which records the sites you visit, searches you make, images and videos you view, and even sites you haven't been to but may like. When you create a Google account, the option to use Web History is checked by default. Opting out doesn't mean Google doesn't collect the information, just that you don't have such easy access to it.

It feels like I've been using Gmail for five or six years, but I found my Web history begins in January 2007, according to Google. The entries since that time are far from a complete log of all my searches and surfing; apparently, events are recorded only while you're logged into your Google account.

To open your Web history, sign into your account, click My Account in the top-right corner of the main Google screen, and choose Web History under My products. The default view is All History. Your other view options include Web, Images, News, Videos, Maps, Blogs, and even the Sponsored Links you were served up, just in case you missed them the first time.

I was ready to find all sorts of embarrassing information about myself in the logs, but they were really kinda boring, which probably indicates their accuracy. I did find several entries that didn't belong—obviously, someone borrowed my PC while I was logged into my Google account.

To remove unwanted items in your history, click Remove items in the left pane, check the entry or entries you wish to excise, and click Remove.

To surf without being tracked, click the left pane's Pause button. (Frankly, I'm inclined to sign off the account altogether.) When you're ready to go back on the record, click Resume.

One of my favorite Web History features is Trends, which shows your top 10 queries, sites, and clicks over the past seven days, month, year, or all recorded. I had fun trying to figure out why I did almost three times more searching last April than I did the previous October, or why I've never searched at 2 a.m. A real shocker for me was that I search more often on Sundays than I do on Fridays. I would've never guessed that one.

Maybe I should have qualms about anybody keeping such close tabs on me, but the fact is, most or all of this information is tracked whether or not I sign up for the service, unless I use an anonymity service or product.

Customizing history settings in Firefox and Internet Explorer, and all browsers let you wipe your Web history clean, but these settings don't affect Google's servers.

Google's privacy policy offers a link to DoubleClick's opt-out cookie, but the best solution is to disable cookies altogether.

This is also a great way to find good, no-name musicians you'd probably never know of otherwise.

What, your company blocks that hip new web site just because it drops the F bomb occasionally? Use Google's cache to take a peek even when the originating site's being blocked, with cache:example.com.

5. Remove affiliate links from product searches

When you're sick of seeing duplicate product search results from the likes of eBay, Bizrate, Pricerunner, and Shopping.com, clear 'em out by stacking up the -site:ebay.com -site:bizrate.com -site:shopping.com operator. Alternately, check out Give Me Back My Google (original post), a service that does all that known reseller cleaning up for you when you search for products. Compare this GMBMG search for a Cruzer 1GB flash drive to the regular Google results.

Adding a tilde (~) to a search term will return related terms. For example, Googling ~nutrition returns results with the words nutrition, food, and health in them.

3. Find music and comic books

Using a combination of advanced search operators that specify music files available in an Apache directory listing, you can turn Google into your personal Napster.

Go ahead, try this search for Nirvana tracks: 

-inurl:(htmhtmlphp) intitle:"index of" +"last modified" +"parent directory" +description +size +(wmamp3) "Nirvana".

(Sub out Nirvana for the band you're interested in; use this one in conjunction with number 7 to find new music, too.) The same type of search recipe can find comic books as well.

2. ID people, objects, and foreign language words and phrases with Google Image Search

Google Image search results show you instead of tell you about a word.

Don't know what jicama looks like? Not sure if the person named "Priti" who you're emailing with is a woman or a man?

Spanish rusty and you forgot what "corazon" is?

Pop your term into Google Image Search (or type image jicama into the regular search box) to see what your term's about.

1. Make Google recognize faces

If you're doing an image search for Paris Hilton and don't want any of the French city, a special URL parameter in Google's Image search will do the trick.

Add : imgtype=face to the end of your image search to just get images of faces, without any inanimate objects. 

Try it out with a search for rose (which returns many photos of flowers) versus rose with the face parameter.

This isn't really a tech. trick, but it's an amusing one.

Do it yourself.....

1) Open an empty notepad file

2) Type Bush hid the facts

3) Save it as whatever you want.

4) Close it, and re-open it.

This is what you get.. All hidden!!

Reasons for why this happens:

Bush hid the facts (sometimes also this app can break) is the common name for a bug present in the function IsTextUnicode of Windows NT 3.5 and its successors, which causes a file of text encoded in Windows-1252 or similar encoding to be interpreted by applications that use it (such as Notepad) as if it were UTF-16LE, resulting in mojibake.
